Insurance Benefits
JBA Consulting Engineers provides medical, dental, vision, and group term life insurance coverage. These plans are currently paid 100% by the company for the employee, spouse (or domestic partner) and dependents. Each employee and eligible dependents are eligible for enrollment on the first of the month following thirty (30) days of active employment.
Optional Supplemental Insurance
JBA offers voluntary, supplemental insurance that includes:
• Voluntary term life insurance
• Accidental death and dismemberment coverage
• Short and long term disability protection
• Hospital plans
Flexible Spending Account
JBA offers medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts, which save employees money by reducing taxable income.
401(k) Retirement Plan
Employees are eligible to participate in JBA’s 401k plan after three (3) months of service. Employer matching is discretionary, but currently JBA is matching 50% up to the first 6% of salary deferred, after one year of employment.

JBA provides tuition reimbursement for courses directly related to the employee’s present assignment or job family.
