JBA Consulting Engineers has been the leading consulting engineering firm in the gaming/hospitality market since 1966, providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering services to a wide range of clients and for numerous large projects. In addition, over the past 10 years our firm has expanded our services in response to client needs and requests to incorporate a full range of technical services. These services include:

The addition of these services enabled our firm to continue responding, in a superior manner, to our client needs and project requirements with a coordinated, technically integrated, and holistic approach to building systems engineering. In addition, our ability to work with external special systems consultants in a multi-discipline environment is substantially enhanced, as we are sensitive and aware of the needs associated with the various consultants that may be involved with the project, particularly for those who offer similar services in a single discipline business model.
Our experience in engineering, design and construction administration services for multi-venue mega-resort projects with accelerated-track design and construction schedules began with the Mirage Hotel Casino Resort in 1989. This experience has been relatively continuous since then and includes more recent projects such as Station Casinos Red Rock Resort, Wynn Las Vegas, The Palms and the Mandalay Bay Resort.
A unique advantage for our team is the longevity of our staff and the collective experience we bring to projects. Many of our key staff members have been with the company for 20+ years.

This is made possible via the virtual library of engineering and design experience gathered during our 41 years of service in the hospitality industry. The key design professionals involved with the Mirage, Wynn Las Vegas, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, New York, New York, Borgata, Rio Hotel Casino and several other properties remain with the JBA team.
Few consulting firms in the hospitality/gaming industry match our experience in designing building systems for complex gaming and hospitality facilities, entertainment venues, including theaters and showrooms, multi-use shopping and mall complexes and central utility plant and large scale campus power distribution systems. In addition, with our experience at Turnberry Place, Panorama Condominiums, MGM Residences, Marriott Grand Chateau, Palms Place Condominiums, and multiple Hilton Timeshare projects, we are at the leading edge of high-rise residential design in the areas of timeshare and condominium-hotels, which offer owners and developers' strategic advantages over more conventional venues dedicated solely to residential or hotel functions.
From a master planning perspective, our project experience, along with the number of projects we have completed and our long term engineering involvement with large scale high profile properties positions us to provide accurate input in a timely manner for master planning of projects. Phased development has become more of a norm for the industry and we pride ourselves in excelling at "beginning with the end in mind," which is essential to successful planning for cost effective, flexible and scalable MEP infrastructure to support both current and future needs. JBA has performed master planning services for multiple projects for the domestic U.S. and international gaming markets.
